When we designed and built our home and the two gites, we envisaged the ‘ Chambre du Platane ' as the perfect room for bed and breakfast, particularly for shorter stays such as a mid-week break or a long weekend. Also if guests staying in one of the gites have friends who want to visit them for a short holiday, they can stay in the room and use the gite ' s cooking facilities, which is equipped for four people.

The room has a double bed and luxurious en suite shower room with a w.c. and hand basin and a built in wardrobe. All linen, towels including pool towels are provided. There is a flat screen TV which receives both French and international channels (inc BBC & Sky News) and complementary Wi-Fi. For your comfort in summer, the room is cooled by an under floor refresher system, which also provides heating in the winter.

French doors open from the bedroom onto a partially covered private terrace where you can eat breakfast with a breathtaking view of the Luberon hills.

The terrace and steps lead to the heated infinity swimming pool where there are sun loungers, a pool house and views over the garden and orchard.

Breakfast is fresh orange juice, croissants and fresh French bread from our local boulangerie, with home made jam and local honey, tea, coffee or chocolate and fresh fruit. If you are celebrating a special occasion why not have a glass of champagne (supplementary charge).

A driveway of olive and cypress trees leads to the house, which is situated in an acre of grounds, with fruit trees and landscaped terraces. There is a 10 x 5 metre heated infinity swimming pool with a spacious sun bathing area and pool house. The gites and the ‘ chambre du Platane ' are tucked away in the peace of the country and yet only a short walk from the village which is much appreciated by all our guests. This is ideal for shopping, a visit to the bar, or eating out. We regret we do not allow children under 18 to stay in the chambre du Platane or gites, or allow more than two people to share the gite. We do not take pets. There is a washing machine shared with the gite guests. Parking is provided.
