We almost bought a village house in Cucuron… How different life might have been!
It’s a charming village, home to about 2000 villagers, on the south side of the Luberon, a short drive to Lourmarin and accessible to Aix en Provence.
Tuesday is market day but we prefer when it’s quieter so you can amble around the pretty streets.
The hub of the village is the historic ‘bassin’ surrounded by ancient Plane trees and a selection of places to eat, drink and go people watching
There are lots of photo opportunities – shutters…….

But the ‘bassin’ is really rather special and was featured in the film ‘a good year’ with Russell Crowe
