The cherry blossom is spectacular at present, literally daily, trees are bursting into colour.
And in every field you look at whether cherry trees or grape vines there is someone at work.
We have noticed over time as the cherry trees age, they are cut down and then new shoots are grafted on and so extending the life of the tree. The ‘Scion’ is added and glued into place and after a few weeks begins to grow !
