Gordes is a quintessential Provençale perched village, just 20 minutes along the valley. One could argue it’s biggest attribute is the view from the viewpoint over the valley.
But take a stroll around the back streets and there are some gorgeous houses and buildings with immense history and character. Market day is Tuesday. It was featured in the film a good year with Russell Crowe. And then there’s the Hotel La Bastide de Gordes – with the McLaren – need I say more …..
