Excellent dinner out
We were treated last night to a wonderful meal at the restaurant 'La Bartavelle ' in the lovely nearby village of Goult. Karen's Mum has been staying with us and always enjoys a meal out and is really quite a goumet having eaten at many of the local restaurants...

Good day/ bad day
One last job to do was cut the grass before our first guests arrived, it started well, especially avoiding cutting this gorgeous wild flower that appeared in the orchard from nowhere, and then my steering column (on the tractor) snapped ! no grass...

Last day of March
Its the 31st March and a beautiful spring day in the Luberon and the weather is set fair for the forthcoming Easter weekend.
The season has started………………..
Its almost as reliable as the blossom appearing on the trees, the week before Easter and the Luberon comes alive. Our first clients, from Germany on their second visit to Le Chene are happily installed and we are content to have got everything ready just in time!
